Influential leaders, the world’s greatest artists, and activists will unite  on Sept. 24  for  Global Citizen Festival 2022 .  This year’s global campaign — which will feature events held in  New York City’s Central Park  and  Accra’s Black Star Square  — aims to achieve an ambitious policy agenda focused on empowering girls and women, taking climate action, breaking systemic barriers, and lifting up activists and advocates. Global Citizen Festival would not be possible without the generous support of world leaders like President of the  European Commission  Ursula von der Leyen and Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Mottley, or superstars like Metallica, Jonas Brothers, Mariah Carey, Stormzy, and SZA — all of whom will join us on our festival stages this year.
