 Fomer President of Nigeria Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan(GCFR) visited Gregory University Uturu Abia State on Wednesday 3rd March 2021

The former former president of Nigeria Dr Good luck Ebele Jonathan (GCFR).Was at Uturu Community in Abia State Nigeria on 3/3/2021 and also visited Gregory University Uturu Abia State after the commissioning of two project sponsored by Chief Dr Greg Iyke Ibe the two project where the Electricity project and a Teaching hospital project.The commissioning ceremony and program was a successful one and after the ceremony of the projects he visited the great Institution to join them for the convocation of the post graduate scholars program of the university.

So many personalities where sitted present at the occasion.The Governor of a Abia State,The present acting coordinator of Amnesty program,scholar and many other gust too numerous to mention was at the ceremony.

us field of studies by the chancellor of the University Cheif Dr Greg Iyke Ibe 

After the opening prayer and national anthem speech where rendered by different personalities.

The vice Chancellor of the University Dr Uwakwe gave a welcome speech and also speech from the chancellor was also given commending the university for rasing scholars from the Bigger Delta region and other achievements gotten in past time by the school.And also commended the former president for coming.

During the program the former president was awarded a doctorate in Public Administration by the university.

The former president also gave his speech thanking the School for naming the 2000 capacity Auditorium after is name.And thank the school for thier warm welcome..In his speech he said he was able to reach where he is today because he went to school and was educated and encourage scholars to be serious in their studies.He also said technology is what will give the country more respect and strength to fight poverty,hunger and unemployment.

He also said during is administration as president he was able to establish about up to 21 universities including the Maritime University, Medical University and the police University.

During the program he was given an appreciation award by the SUG president David Mumemune a son from the Niger Delta and also an Amnesty scholar.

After which the present coordinator of the amnesty program Cool Dixxon also gave his speech.The Governor of Abia State also gave his speech.And after the speech from the chairman of the PAP scholar of the school an award of appreciation was also awarded to the Former President by the PAP scholars body of the university.As a farher,mentor,and leader from the Niger Delta.

The occasion was a colourful one.With play dance and songs rendered to make the occasion entertaining and more colourful.
